Paz leads the firm's Data Privacy and Digital Law Department as Of Counsel expert in Data Protection, Intellectual Property, Internet Law and cybersecurity. 

In the area of Data Protection, Paz advises our clients on projects of adaptation to the RGPD and LOPD, through the draft of Compliance Plans for public and private entities, the performance of Data Protection Audits, the creation and review of Internal Policies and Protocols, the drafting of contracts and LOPD clauses, the drafting of legal reports and legal opinions, the development and delivery of training programmes for employees and managers, the execution of Risk and Impact Assessments, legal defence in disciplinary proceedings before the AEPD and the administrative jurisdiction, as well as the outsourced service of the Data Privacy Department and/or the Data Protection Officer.

In the field of Digital Law, Paz advises on unfair competition, domains, trademarks and intellectual property on the internet, as well as data processing in the web environment and e-commerce.

Paz has developed an intense professional career linked to the areas of Data Privacy and Intellectual Property, both nationally and internationally. She has been a lawyer for the multinational pharmaceutical company Smithkline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline), General Coordinator of the Fundación Centro de Estudios para el Fomento de la Investigación (CEFI), a benchmark institution in industrial property, pharmaceutical law and biotechnology. Subsequently, she was the creator and Director of the Digital Law Department of HERRERO & ASOCIADOS, a leading international firm of recognised prestige specialising in industrial and intellectual property and information technology.

She has advised large and medium-sized companies in all sectors (industrial, academic, medical, institutional, audiovisual, food and consumer goods, marketing, among others) and has been involved in some of the most important national and cross-border litigation.

She is also a regular lecturer and trainer in companies, Chambers of Commerce, Universities, Institutes, Business Associations and other institutions. She regularly writes for specialised publications and blogs.

With her incorporation, as a result of the collaboration agreement between BOADO & VALERO and the firm LEGAL THINGS, the Firm gains a very valuable professional and an important asset, by contributing to strengthen the weight of our Firm in Data Privacy and Digital Law, thus making possible the creation of a team specifically dedicated to these areas, to meet the demands of service that we are receiving both nationally and internationally by our clients.
